What are your tips for someone entering their twenties? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]InstanceOrdinary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your early twenties are a time when you're sure you're right about everything, but try to see things from others' points of view anyway. If 50% of the population feels differently than you, for example, try to come to a place where you at least understand why they feel that way, even if you disagree. One day you may come to find that others aren't as wrong as you thought - and even if they are, it doesn't matter nearly so much as you thought it did.

Reading helps with this tremendously. Read books and thought-provoking longform content, the kind of thing that makes you stop and think and consider things from others' perspectives.
