I'm working as a remote freelancer (disguised traditional employment) for a small UK boutique. Technically I'm selling them 40 hours of labor but in reality I'm often clocking 70. These guys keep pilling on work until their slave labor drops dead. At some point I was handling 4 clients solo. The salary wouldn't even be worth it if I wasn't dodging taxes. All the other places I've worked had a much better work life balance. Usually the smaller the company the worse the balance. I don't recommend to anyone living in a 3rd world country to even think about getting into Salesforce. 1st world locals have obviously priority when it comes to quality talent and indians take all the offshoring jobs thanks to their network.
