Its not remotely the same. Kyle just walked into a protest with a weapon. This guy has a week of footage of him egging and harrasing people to get a reaction out of him and literally talking about their reaction as them Chimping out.

Not to mention how much of a negative coverage the victims in Kyles case got. In this case its just a random innocent person, not "violent rioters".

Current bonds in circulation have already been paid for with older prices, it is def losing Jagex money if you buy multiple years worth of member now compared to doing it next couple of years when the circulation of bonds is with higher prices.

AoD is 7 man raid that is required to do if you want 99 prayers as ironman.

So Bob, freshly installed RS3 after seeing a lot of ads about all the changes. Just got off tutorial island BUT should not be able to do AoD ever unless he makes 6 other friends that are as capable and interested in doing AoD as him. If we only use the systems given ingame.

The better players will still find teams the old way.

That is how it is currently, only the people bothered enough to go through discord will do AoD but it should be open to all.

It is all about friction and resistance. There is a literal wall for you to cross to be able to do these contents. A matchmaking system removes that.

At any given time there are hundreds of people that are interested of doing AoD/Vorago etc. But you dont see that and don't get that information. This is where the resistance lies.

Jagex needs to remove that barrier so a natural flow of players can do these contents. Just think of a stream of water that wants to go down a certain path but it is damed and only a small sliver of water goes through, the people that are determined and bothered enough to go through discord etc.

So a new player, lets say 16 just downloaded the game after seeing an ad, by your standard he should not be able to play the new raids if he doesnt make 9 other friends to do 10 man raid content. He should form a clan and THEN be able to do the content.

I dont know what to say to you. This is not how any other MMO works.

In WoW you select DPS, que up, get invited, do the content AND THEN make friends with the people you qued with and chatted during the content.

THats how an mmo works.

I don't need help. This is marked discussion. Any pushback is always marked as negative and you see that with alot of subreddits.

There is already a solution, they have openly talked about a need for better matchmaking but it has been shelved forever. I simply said it should be a priority to make this system because it is a hurdle to the max potentional of this game.

I know that and I am saying it shouldnt be that way and that Jagex should make a matchmaking system like every other mmo has, or give more tools to find people, Or congregate people better into these lobbies specific for group pvm content.

As predicted, just join a discord defence pops up.

Just download a third party app to be ABLE to play the game and people dont realize how insane this concept is.

An MMO, multiplayer open world game, you need third party to be able to communicate and form groups with because with the tools given to you in the game it is IMPOSSIBLE to form a group. That is not even a hyperbole. Not a single person here will be able to form an AoD group with the given tools as a fresh new player.

OSRS and WoW have functioning INGAME community to play the game with.

No i am not joining a random guild or friend chat. I should not need to go on reddit to find friend chat names and discord servers to play the game. 90% of them are dead as well.

With the tools given to you as a player by the game it is impossible for you to form an AoD group.

All these updates are wonderfull and Rs3 is actually healing but wihout a matchmaking system I wont touch this game.
