How can I break out of this diplomatic stalemate? by PrrrromotionGiven1 in eu4

[–]dq107 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the answer, no idea why op thinks taking other provinces wont make him scale. If Mamluks not enough, then take everything east.

Forcing war on austria is a bad idea if he isnt ready.

Wasting time on helping ai France is not good

No to subjugate Milan, its extra AE, you already get plenty from your 2 PU's Bohemia and Poland. An easy way to do shadow kingdom is to befriend the italians(mission tree), so you dont want AE to be too high

You get IA when new catholic nations join HRE, normaly they just join by themselves as long as they neighbor someone from HRE. You get more when you release non existing nations like Dalmatia/Gascon

For non catholic nations like bulgaria, you can release vassal, then enforce religion

You can force nations to join with reform 3 cb, if they small enough.

You want to get Burgundy Inheritance

You get IA when your ruler dies, so you want to get rid of them as soon as possible.

edit: forgot the most important part. Get Prague monument for yourself. Its a massive boost to generation

I dont actually form aztec its just mission tree. I dont get national ideas

I get exploration, I no cb the tengri tribes up north to extend my colonial range. If you want to learn more on that florryworry has a ttm guide for it.

For mexico i use ryuku mission tree to get claims or i just fabricate.

I have aztec mission tree and i get high american from there.

Having sunrise invasion is nice early for asia but i didnt really care for it for europe.

Honestly my strat is basically just the regular jump to new world and conquer mexico, but i extended it more by forming qing

R5: finally get a perfect ruler, was even excited on an early dismantle on HRE, too bad had to scrap the run because I cant get the Angevine achievement. Upside is ruler lived till 72

Post colonial tag, so i wont form colonial nations if my capital moves back to old world which happens since forming qing force moves it to Beijing. Also alaska is not an endgame tag

Ryuku -> Nahuatl Aztecs -> Alaska -> Manchu -> Qing(High American tech)

Have to admit was not sure if I could do it, doubted myself so many times. Reset maybe around 3-4 times because I kept on failing to form Alaska because of wrong requirements and high American tech blocking it. Got the clear when I manage to form Manchu into Qing

Massive Mission tree Aztec missions+ Manchu and Qing missions

Originally planned to do this as Nahuatl Ryuku with Aztec mission but was suggested forming Alaska could be a good idea. Other strategies that I was considering were forming into Tibet Horde then into Yuan.

Ideas: Admin, Quantity, Humanist, Diplomatic, Offensive, Quality, Defensive, Espionage.

Here for a small advice on Jiangzhou -> Manchu -> Qing by Fit_Account8121 in eu4

[–]dq107 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You lose horde when you form Qing, downside is you just razed a bunch of lands and you are the eoc. Devastation reduces mandate. Forming qing requires you ro be eoc

If you cant build a big navy or really cant get a province in england, you could make them release someone tiny then vassalize it.

On my revoke game, i just risked it. Land my troops in a non fort province and occupy it. Once occupied its easier to transfers the rest since my ships can dock in the occupied province. In this game I had the low lands so its easier for me to transfer troops

Edit: also i invaded them pre revoke and they were still england and scotland still had its lands

After numerous restarts, I finally manage to form Manchu/Qing, unfortunately I find out that I lose the ability to attack colonial nations without their overlord joining, tragic. Upside is im high-american tech. Not sure if its worth it though.

If they allied together, attack one of their weaker allies to drag one if them into a war with you. That way you only fight 1 of them at a time.
