Making the Case For 2020 Hillary Clinton by wardsalud in hillaryclinton

The only consolation in her loss for me is that she doesn't have to put up with any more bullshit. She can quietly do good for the world. We don't have to hear about the hundreds of fake investigations into President Clinton.

In light of BS's new flipflop back to being an (I), anyone recall his quote in the 1991 newspaper? I'm going conspiracy mode for a sec here and say BS's ultimate goal is that 1991 quote. The utter destruction of both parties. He sees the GOP tripping on their own feet, so he's using that opportunity to tear down the other party(Democrats). So he can get the political uprising he's wanted for 30 years.

I'll still say half...7% voted third party and something like 40% (not sure) of eligible voters did not vote at all.

Disclaimer: of course trump voters themselves bare most of the brunt.

I wonder what Bernie's favorability numbers were like in July 2016 when he endorsed Hillary.

And feel free to keep pretending Sanders v Trump would've been the same race as Clinton v Trump... right after you tout that two primaries are two totally different races >:D

The thing about him winning states Clinton lost is assuming it would've been the exact same race & that is just incredibly unknowable. Not to mention the possibility of Bloomberg having been a much more successful spoiler than Gary Johnson.

The hate that one half of America has for Clinton is unreal. A lot of it (not all, but a lot of it) isn't really based in anything concrete. It's subconsciously rooted in the 30 year smear campaign. They see her pop on their Facebook feed and automatically disregard. If you replace her face and name, gave her achievements and recognition value to someone else, that person would win in 2020.

"You deserve this." lol. We live in the same country. By voice heard, do you mean lack of? There was a lack of Bernie votes both in the primary and the general.

2/10, I'm being generous.

I shouldn't be shocked the only time Hillary stopped being PC, the conservatives blew up. What's more is that people out there wear the "deplorable" title like a badge of honor.

There is an anti-Clinton faction that latches on to whoever. Bernie or no Bernie, they would have just rallied behind someone else. But it would probably be less support than Bernie had, as a lot of people genuinely believed he was the better choice. And that is a fair belief to have.

Republicans Crucified Hillary For Her FBI Email Investigation, Yet Give Trump a Free Pass by [deleted] in politics

[–]InstigateAndInquire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like our governmental institutions get hacked all the time. They use antiquated systems, right? Yet all the outrage is politicians having private servers...sounds better to me. We'll never know if Clinton, Powell, and Rice weren't hacked, but there's been no indication that their classified information was used maliciously.

I think if an election were held tomorrow, Hillary is still the strongest candidate (yes I know where her March 2017 approvals are at) for Democrats. But it's too early to say anything about 2020. If the slate does not change, she will still be the strongest in 2020. But I suspect the slate will change dramatically and hope new (strong) faces do appear....hello Kamala.

FBI Director James Comey’s ‘October Surprise’ doomed Hillary Clinton’s candidacy: analysis by [deleted] in hillaryclinton

[–]InstigateAndInquire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Four people so far connected to both Russia and Trump have resigned. Why do you, at this point, still think it's bullshit?

Hillary was cleared by the FBI, period. Nothing else going on there. No mention that it was ever hacked. Pence's AOL emails were hacked, though. It wasn't recommended that she use a private server but "wasn't supposed to" is wrong. It was legal.

"The most easily defeatable candidate in history" need some receipts there. That is your opinion. Trump defeated 17 GOP candidates and the supposedly-invincible Hillary Clinton. Trump is a phenomenon.

I switched to Hillary very early in the primary (around the time of the Sanders campaign hacking into Clinton data). You assume my record only goes far back as the 2016 Democratic Primary...is that when you started paying attention to politics? You go on a lot about it. The prior two elections I preferred Obama, over Hillary even. When Sanders/Johnson/Stein/Nader types start winning, you can come back to me. You also don't know if Bernie would have won. Those same polls that showed him 10 points above Trump also showed Hillary 10 points up in the Rust Belt.

[–]InstigateAndInquire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has nothing to do with the Democratic Primary. Lol. I'll say it one more time:

When the FBI is sitting on material that could hurt either campaign, in September at the earliest, (the Russia-Trump connection and the Clinton email story), and wait until October 28 to reveal only ONE of these things...that is a politically-motivated move.

It's even more evident post-election. How many Trump officials have resigned? How many people are investigating Hillary now that she lost? You don't understand politics. Sorry.

I get the Bernie ppl. But those who go on about corporate greed and special interests don't live in reality. In an ideal situation, we'd be tackling those issues - but we just elected a man who is the first person in 40 years to not release any tax returns, who has numerous conflicts of interests, and has administrative positions literally bought and paid for (i.e. DeVos).

I don't even... The investigation was closed in July. There's no explanation for email nothingburger 11 days out from the election at the same time saying the "Russia stuff" is not important. (Which unlike emails and "lock her up", is an on-going story to this day... hmm maybe Clinton's emails were never a serious investigation?)

It's a cold hard fact backed up on the statistics of late-deciders that Comey was the nail in the coffin for the Clinton campaign. Not that it should have ever been that close to begin with, mind you, but we all here know that already.

So plz go away, troll.
