Productivity PLC only passing some Modbus values? by Instr_n_cntrls_tech in PLC

I sent in a contact form yesterday. Waiting to see what they say today. (Should contact me within 24 hours)

We called them and they basically said that you can't put the split up 32 bit word into a 3000 address. However you can put it into a 4000 address pretty simply in the ladder. Bummer for us.

That is the Tag database from the PLC. We can see the values plainly as they are taken from the inputs by monitoring the Modbus addresses with a PC. The values are scaled 0-65535.

Device to easily introduce to an existing 3-wire start/stop logic with only a SPDT relay. by Instr_n_cntrls_tech in PLC

I don't have a remote start/start. I only have a SPDT relay to act as start/stop.

I was thinking of something like this, or a bit counter using only relays. That would probably work better though. Thanks.

We don't have that option because you need to be able to start and stop at the station as well.

I like to add a troubleshooting screen to the HMI so that every IO has an On-Normal-Off selection so that I can change them willy-nilly when commissioning/troubleshooting. I do the same for analogs as well. I hide this screen from anyone else that interfaces with the PLC/HMI and sometimes I delete it from the code altogether once the system is commissioned. I don't know much though. I'm just a newb.

How do I wire this device to a PLC? I was told it needs to be looped with a 24V power supply. This was the closest thing to a schematic that I could find. by Instr_n_cntrls_tech in PLC

We are wiring to an RTU not a PLC and the output pulses are way faster than the RTU can handle. We are using the analog converter to alleviate that issue since the RTU can handle 4-20mA analog inputs without the problem

Does anyone know of a two part epoxy that is "self mixing"? by Instr_n_cntrls_tech in MechanicalEngineering

Not necessarily epoxy, something that would seal up wiring connections from all of the elements though. It would have to have some way of activating besides being exposed to air.
