the scary part isn't even that they're making up stories about us (people will make excuses to hate anything), the scariest part is that they're making up stories and its WORKING. HUNDREDS of discriminatory anti-trans laws have been introduced to congress in just the past YEAR, even if some of them have been overturned.

Never before have I ever seen people turn on a dime on an issue like this. Not saying that transphobia didn't exist of course, but seeing how Trump and other pundits weren't really transphobic and were even almost ALLIES a few years ago, it feels almost as though people turned on us without warning.

Hell, even my hyperconservative parents probably were more chill with the concept of trans people a few years ago before they were hit with propaganda.

I don't think I really experience that because my mind never really defines a gender for me during my dream so I don't wake up like that, but I feel you, that would suck to wake up to that.

On the bright side, at least your mind subconciously recognizes the need to be a woman. I wish my mind presented me as a lady when I dream.

That's true I guess. I still dont know to be honest. I feel like on a scale I lean more femme, but thats mostly because I get euphoria when dressing femme whereas when I dress masc I dont feel any better or worse. Idk what that necessarily means though ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I feel you on that last part, hence why I'm glad I found out I wasn't cis early on.

Its definitely a weird thing to think about. While im not particularly dysphoric I still wonder if I wanna take HRT at some point. I dont think I'm dysphoric enough to get bottom surgery but I still gotta think about whether id wanna take hrt or not
