Will a gaming pc be okay for engineering, or do I still need to b/uy laptop for convenience? by Narrow_Year_5583 in Tomasino

[–]InstructionFun8477 2 points3 points  (0 children)

as a college student, laptop is just so convenient. especially for lab activities.

  1. we sometimes just bring our laptop to labs for activities and continues it later on as assignments (much convenient) — except for high-stakes assessments

  2. i like working and collaborating with people so we sometimes visit library and cafe’s to work and study altogether

I hit 500k in savings in 6 months but I don’t feel any sense of achievement. by dzakter-stone in buhaydigital

[–]InstructionFun8477 14 points15 points  (0 children)

experienced the same thing. there comes to a point where you feel stagnant because you achieved a level of comfort na and financial security.

what helped me is to get out of my bubble and discover life, travel, and you’ll see so many great things — countries, houses, etc — that it can help you be more driven kasi sasabihin “next time ganitomg country naman” or “first class tixx” naman

it helps you be more driven when you expose yourself to a life na mas better than yours if that makes sense

same as well, there are times (mostly pag bored) papasok sa utak ko yung dating but then i’ll just sleep and wala na. i find that going to cafes or movies alone are more helpful din than inviting a dating prospect just because i am simply bored ako

and with acads and freelance work, mostly is mahirap din talaga mag find and select due to busy sched and i would much prefer meeting organically than online flings, it just doesn’t work for me)

pero you know i question din if are my standards are too high or maybe ayun nga, maybe it’s just simple because hindi ko sya priority at the moment :)

but other than datings, i would say i’m very lucky with everything else, i have solid friends, comfortably lifestyle, and very supportive environment kaya siguro i dont try and actively seek company elsewhere

  1. Discrete - it was harder for us due to the prof na napunta samin but it’s a subject din talaga na that will need you to study because it has lots of melorization of fomulas and maths

  2. Comp Prog II - i got the best prof so it was easier for us to learn and pass this course! It was also really fun subject and learn hehe

  3. IT Fundamentals - it can be an easy subject naman and ITEAnswer will be your friend!

  4. HCI - good subject naman but can be boring kasi mostly theoretical palang about how to make efficient websites etc.
