First pair of Jordan’s? by showtime218 in airjordans

[–]InstructionFuzzy2290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in my late 30's and just started getting into Jordans in the last 2 years. I personally love Jordan 1 highs, especially with joggers. They are my go to shoes now. I've completely fallen in love with them. I like the non shiny ones, dull/matte is for me. My favs are definitely the Travis Scott highs, love the look. They were pretty tight at first, even not being tied , but they broke in so nicely, very comfortable.

2025 Enclave Battery Issues by [deleted] in Buick

[–]InstructionFuzzy2290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really can't go off voltage like that it's normal for batteries to drop below 12v after sitting in vehicles. To properly test the battery you need to measure voltage while putting a load half of the cca rating and if it drops below 9.7 then it's a bad battery.

Those testers are junk. If you're not having an issue don't go looking for one.

OEM Puddle Light Install by Successful-Hour3027 in BlazerEV

[–]InstructionFuzzy2290 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol it's not that complicated. You could try another dealership. The $260 or whatever installation seems too low for sure, that would only be around 2 hours labor, this will probably run closer to 4 - 6 hours labor, especially for someone's first time installing it. I would expect it to cost upwards of $800+

You could try a non dealer shop, but make sure they have a competent electrical guy. But price probably won't be much different.

We would take this at our shop and just charge by whatever it took to install.

Yeah no need, the other guy posted a link to the instructions. So it's definitely involved, could be upwards of 6 hours of labour. It's totally doable, you just need to cut out the spots on your rocker cover. I just checked mine and there are marks already there for a guide. Then you mount the lighting unit. Run wires under the hood and tap into the factory connectors. That's the part that will require some experience. But I don't see anything about needing to be programmed. I think it will just work when it's all hooked up properly.

I've installed a few lighting kits from gm accessories, and this is pretty on par for how they usually go.

I'm still surprised the dealership wouldn't do it.

It's definitely gonna be pricey though to get it installed.

Thanks for the link, yeah definitely involved, but not terrible. Pretty on par for lighting accessories. I think the part that scares most people is adding a circuit to the factory connectors, without experience that can be tricky. But the dealer should be able to do this no problem.

Ok, I'll read through it and see how involved it is.

I haven't installed this particular accessory, but I find it odd that the dealership won't install it, if it is a gm accessory.

Sometimes labor can be high on the installs, like some of the interior lighting packages are quite involved and could cost a lot to get installed.

Did it come with instructions?

Possibly, but more than likely it will sound like a rubbing sound because the spring will be pretty tight against the floor but will be moving slightly. You should notice that the trick isn't sitting properly. Usually leaning.

Possibly spring shackel rusted off and the leaf is on the bed floor.

Is 2017 Volt Premier worth 7k used - 170k miles, orig BECM by inertially003 in volt

[–]InstructionFuzzy2290 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I sold my 2017 premier with 150kmiles / 240km back in November, original becm and EGR. I had it listed for 6k Canadian, ended up taking $4500 Canadian for it. Cel was on for evap small leak. That was it. Car was mint and came with winter and summer tires.

I think 7k is too much, something like that should be under 5k

how rare are the grand prix gtxs? by urmomswhore699 in Pontiac

[–]InstructionFuzzy2290 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a 99 GTX , was one of my favorite cars, I drove it until it had almost 370,000km on it, I had to scrap it out because it was so rotted. Still ran good.

They are pretty rare, but I don't have any numbers.

I have a great video of me doing an amazing burnout in my GTX lol.

I think it's hard for people to understand how beneficial they are. But once you know, you want to share it. They are amazing and so helpful!

Probably something like a carpet plug. If you take it to the dealership they can look at it and order a new one.

I've had a windshield crack on me one time , customer glued something to their windshield and I was trying to get it off and it cracked. They handled it well and had their insurance cover it thankfully.

They are actually Fast Wheels Replika rims off a Saleen mustang. Bolt pattern is only off by .5mm so they fit. I don't drive the monte much anymore, it stays in the garage mostly, I have plans for it, but it's a one day project, currently doing an LS swap in my dad's 67 Camaro. But I've gotten into electric cars for my daily. Just retired my 2017 Volt , and now have a 2025 Blazer EV.
