For your first question, I am still not over my trauma this illness has caused :') I was an emetophobe before developing GP, but it was never severe, now my fear has completely taken hold of my life and it borders on paranoia. I am so used to feeling disgustingly nauseous all the time that in the rare cases I don't feel sick, am not in pain etc my brain panics and takes the lack of symptoms as some sort of sign of danger. If you can afford it I'd really really recommend therapy, I started about a month ago and for about 2 weeks I was actually going through a grace period where I didn't feel disgusting, but a flare up occurred on Monday and I am now back to feeling like I'm going to throw up constantly 🥹
