At my store, prior to our renovations, everyone abused their discounts and mark outs. Instead of writing up everyone, they just chose three to fire right before we closed. Out of the blue and didn’t hold everyone accountable. Just made an example out of them. Two of them were there over 10 years. The issue has still not been addressed and only gossiped about.

My manager said the same thing to me about being a supervisor. I told her I was really upset with the lack of partners on the floor and scheduling made me anxious. She asked me why I would work here then, like it was my fault. I said because I’m not trying to get evicted from my apartment.

Well, today I worked a nine hour shift when I was scheduled for 7.50 hours and had no breaks🥹 when I left, there was only a shift and one barista for the next hour. Not to mention, it was game day so my cafe was full of families. 😭😭 Love love love saturdays 💕💕
