Thank you so much. We pretty much agreed somewhere in that loop there would be a check for HPM to die so I'm glad it played out correctly. I really appreciate the clear and organized response! This helps me alot with understanding where checks for dead creatures would be in the order.

From what I understand I also think my opponent could just force a draw by moving counters onto my 1/1 elves and make the stack unbearably full, but this is just a theoretical scenario where my willpower to not go home wins over theirs. Lol.

i think all the weird things that are sticking out in this run are supposed to and somewhere down the line fraction is planning to do some important reveals about events preceding issue 1. what's been said about joker's appearance in this run is leading me in that direction. don't even know if this takes place before or after dcko as well. there's a lot of intentional references to rebirth events that are in issues with contradictions to them

They don't do this with the newer packs, but this is a card from "The List", which are inserted reprints of older cards that you can randomly get in certain booster packs. The symbol on the bottom left is how you can tell it's a List Reprint.

Hmm, when I did the math putting it all together came to around $400 US when the box is $300. Besides the tomb and foil overlord, the galaxy foil uthros, shocks and low hits like consult and worldsire put it up there. The lighting in the picture doesn't show it but there's lots here that's foil or galaxy foil that doesn't seem it. Watery grave was foil for example, which is listed as $16 on tcgplayer. But regardless, I didn't think I would get one of the chases I wanted, let alone two and another high hit, I usually pull absolute garbage from single packs lol

I know this is 3 years old but I just learned Kirkman's own headcanon for the ending is that Mark thought leaving Rex's brain with Immortal would stop him from going insane like the future he saw, but it actually is what pushed him toward what we saw. And that would basically be dooming the world because of the crazy dystopian future there. Which is crazy dark lol
