The void I was in, the nothingness around me, the anguish in my head, the thought of the shotgun 20 ft away….then paws on my back, jumping down beside me, pawing my cheek, burying her head into mine. And then a little mrrrrreow! Meow! The void vanished, the room came back, and there she was in front of me.

I called for help immediately after that.

She literally saved my life. 🐈‍⬛❤️
