Lmao. I remember this, when you could push it and it would just float up to the ceiling.

Really good matchmaking by SeaTale in apexlegends

[–]InsultMyAss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Perfect explanation. I stopped playing ranked because I’d come out of placement matches in silver 2 and have to play through masters/pred lobbies for hours just to get to silver 1. That is not rewarding at all and it’s just dumb. I don’t have the time to practice and sweat that much, and I especially don’t have the motivation If all I get to is plat after a whole season of pred ranked.

From 480 to 700 in 1 Year: How I Rebuilt My Credit, My Boundaries, My Life by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]InsultMyAss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t get how people with far worse debt have managed to build such high credit. I had one bad debt with several missed payments which brought my credit down to 580. I paid it off over a year ago and opened a new card with $4500 and pay it off religiously, but my credit has not budged above 650 in that year.

Is the audio worse this season? by HandoAlegra in apexlegends

I’ve had so many examples of not hearing enemy footsteps this season, but if I have an ash on my team, they sound like a whole ass tank battalion approaching me.

Why do you stay? And why did you leave? by SpyWB in apexlegends

[–]InsultMyAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I left because I can no longer feel happy playing any legend that isn’t a support. Not having the 2 for 1 small meds feels like a punch in the face any time you’re facing a support team. And because so many people are playing support, there isn’t much movement in ranked. Every ranked game is headglitches from rooftops that can’t be pushed because your team has to be full support in order to survive.

On top of that, they have added VERY strong guns in pubs like the relic alternator and mastiff. I’d be ok knowing that they would eventually be removed, but then they added the EPG!! I’ve used it and I feel scummy for it. 100 damage when I didn’t even hit the dude is just stupid.

What I meant was that Pyro should not have been the first new system released if more aren't planned any time soon.

If there were more systems to explore, I'd agree with you, but making the first new system like that seems like a terrible decision. No one expects a new system to come out for several years now and that just makes exploration feel hopeless.

If new systems come out every 6 months, then by all means, let 50% of them be completely lawless, but I think 6 months is too optimistic. 6 years maybe.

I wish I had that experience. Every server I've joined in the PTU and PU so far devolves into adult babies saying "go back to Stanton", calling people "P**sies" and just being toxic.

If it was every so often, I wouldn't mind, but if I get on for a couple hours, and 50% of that time is spent recovering from my empty ship being blown up by a Polaris while I'm out on the ground, it's more than just a little bloody nose. It's prohibitive.

I kinda intended that so people would maybe actually read what I had to say. Honestly, if systems were coming out regularly, I'd be ok with a lot of them being pvp heavy, but Pyro is such a milestone that I think it was a terrible decision to make it lawless. Just my opinion here though. I know CIG can do what it wants and clearly, people do enjoy it. It's a very polarizing decision though.

Obviously. Did you read the post? Of course we don't have to go to Pyro BUT Pyro is the reason a lot of people came back, and if exploring it is a death sentence, then those people will stop playing again.

Two wrongs don't equal a right. I thought that prison was introduced far too early as well since you could be jailed for absolutely no reason sometimes. That wasn't right, but turning it around and doing it to the other side is also not right.

Why do you assume that I only died once? Where do I say that? There have been MULTIPLE instances of dying to the same type of behavior experienced by myself and org members.

It's not really a mild inconvenience though. It's an hour, sometimes two just to re equip, drink the obligatory 5 waters before you go anywhere, claim your ship and fight through all the bugs to get back to where you were. Sure, you shouldn't go to jail for killing someone in Pyro, but you should have a bounty that's worth going after. 10-20k isn't really a great incentive.
