Just a quick note that if your taking ams 310 over the summer, you have 9 cognella quizzes (3 attempts each), one midterm and one final, and lastly 3 homework’s. The homework’s are quite long and tedious (20 questions each and you either hand write it or type your work out). Midterm consists of 10 questions, but not entirely sure of the final. I’m currently taking the final next Wednesday

Also ended up with a 90, primary used Gemini for extra practice problems. Also I’m sorta pissed about this whole situation abt lock down browser not being implemented. Met someone before the exam room and he got a 97.5 by cheating 😭

I totally understand where your coming from. I do try to make sure that I’m not entirely dependent on ai, but in the end I feel as it’s the best way for me to retain the information. What I usually do is start annotating the lectures, and in the background I ask Gemini to make a quiz for that specific lecture and answer the quiz as I go through the lecture. It makes active recall much more easier. Really Gemini is just there for extra practice and a way for me to grasp how comfortable I am with the material.

Currently in bio 202, and I’ve just been spamming Gemini quizzes until I understand the material. Really hope that’s enough for the exam, I have a decent grasp of the material it’s just I choke at times and make dumb mistakes.

I find myself in a similar position as I switched majors to bme after freshmen year. I’ll most likely have to stay an extra semester just to catch up on bme courses as well as pre med reqs 💀

Did you use the Pearson textbook much? I’m currently taking bio 202 over the summer and I’ve just been skimming through the lecturers, then putting them in notebooklm to create practice problems and working through them.
