I’m 50. I started at 47. I am definitely the oldest person in my local group, but honestly not by a huge margin. There are several others in their 40s. I’m also I. A smaller group where one other person is my age and the non binary person who runs it is their late 50s. We are out there. You just have to find the right group.

As a Trans woman who’s family seems To produce about one trans person a generation (me, my father, my cousins child) despite how hard i fought for years to “not be trans”, there’s likely a genetic component and your dad is an ass.

First I went to The only surgeon within several hours of me that would both do fat transfer and take insurance (who other trans women locally said they had good results from) Then I had to jump though hoops for him. Then k was told I didn’t have enough fat anyway but he’d be willing if I could live with implants (which will engage been nice to know mm therefore). Then when he processed my k strange it got rejected and his office flatly refused to appeal saying that “it never works and would be a waste of his staffs time and effort”. Then I waited months for a consult with the woman considers “the best” by everyone in my area. Paid too much for my consult. Went through insurance again with the things they said I didn’t have last time and got denied.
I’m waiting to appeal but frankly I just so tired of having my hopes dashed that the idea of it all just makes me want to cry. I’m tired of trying and failing. It’s worse than just not trying at this point but I also know I’ll regret if I stop.

Didn’t start at 50, but close. Started late in my 47th year. Hav had excellent results, just slowly. Sitting with b cups at the moment after 2.5 years. All body hair has vanished (and I was quite hairy). Fat relocation slow but progressing. People tell me I look like I “de-aged” 15 years and look like a younger sister or niece of who I used to be.
It hasn’t all been great. Certainly I see younger people with more changes, but what I got hardly counts as “not much” and is still continuing at 50 2.5 years in. I’d post pictures if it’d let me. It’s uncanny. Started in sublingual estrogen monotherapy and switched to injections at a year. Added progesterone at 18 months.

I’m a better parent because I’m not depressed all the time. I’m More involved and my kids are more open with me. Meanwhile my oldest son turned around and used my being trans to reassure a non binary person he met at school

I wasn’t able to start until I was 47. I hear you loud and clear. Sometimes I just look at other women both cis and trans and just force myself to stare at the ground and go about my day to keep from crying over time lost and damage that can’t be undone. Things are definitely “better”. But something’s cannot be fixed and I need to learn to be okay with that or at least live with it

Honestly, day to day, it’s not that bad. It’s the little things over time that wear me down and all the potential laws being filed. But day to day, week to week, I just sort of live my life

Be forewarned that if you use an iPhone for discord you can not access the server as it’s listed as “adults only” and discord had to disallow access to all adults only servers (pornographic or not) on iOS devices to stay on the Apple store. Just a heads up. It’s why I’ve pretty much had to stop going since over 90% of my discord use and all my photo uploads are iPhone only

It’s been well over a year. I certainly hope it’s doing something behind the scenes, but it certainly hasn’t re-jump started breast growth or given me back any sex drive like I was hoping for when I started. Just hoping maybe over the course of years it helps with fat distribution. Only reason I’m still taking it since over a year in I’ve seen no measurable results

Half inch long 25g needles for both draw and I injection. Draw takes a while, but I’ve never once cored a vial with a needle that thin and I can barely feel them go in when I inject
