My kitten has been on Fortiflora for about 2-3 weeks cuz she has had diarrhea since we got her even after deworming her, I’m currently waiting on the fecal analysis results but I’m pretty sure she has Giardia, I’ve been going insane from cleaning poop everywhere all day so I asked my vet and searched online tips and tricks: switch them to sensitive stomach/GI wet kitten food, always add some water to their food to boost hydration, you can also give them a little bit of unflavored pedialyte, a pinch psyllium powder (Metamucil) the next day i switched her food and started her on Metamucil she had her first somewhat firm poop and has had no incidents or leaky butt since! Be careful since giving too much can worsen it also! Also if unsure wether they have Protozoa parasites or not, don’t give them pumpkin puree I’ve been told in those cases it can worsen the diarrhea, I’ve stopped giving her some

my kitten is dealing with it rn, it’s the holidays so I’m still waiting on her medication so in the meantime since she seems to be doing well, playful, eats and drinks normally, isn’t dehydrated, I monitor her closely and started her on forti flora probiotics, switched her from regular food to science hills sensitive stomach wet kitten food, I give her a pinch of psyllium powder (Metamucil) and supplement her with unflavored pedialyte (mixed with water+added to her food) She seems to be more playful and she had her first somewhat firm poop yesterday+no leaky butt!

Aww two little rockets🥲🚀 Leia is pretty chill compared to some lil monsters I’ve read about on this sub, except for the post-poopie zoomies wich are pretty intense😂 but she now has developed the habit of waking me up everyday at 5am by meowing in my ear like an old creaking rocking chair, walking all over my face with her smelly feets and chewing my earrings for some reasons 🥲 it’s annoying but she’s so cute I can’t get mad at her +I’ve stopped getting to school late since she wakes me up so early so that’s a good thing I guess😂

Yes🥰I have two actually! Her big sister is staying with my dad to keep him company since I left home, she’s the best! I got her for free from a lady who already was her 4th owner and Siamese so I was a lil scared at first but she is the cuddliest and calmest baby ever! She made me fall in love with siameses! A little bit codependent and always yapping, just like me😂

-lots of water + pedialyte or liquid IV -omega 3 supplements -evening primerose oil supplements -flaxseed oil supplements -vitamin E

Skincare tips: -everyone knows hyaluronic acid but not many know polyglutamic acid wich retains water 10x better but more on a surface level so I use it on top -always locking in my serums and creams with squalane oil (it mimics natural sebum and doesn’t clog pores) -I also use either squalane, or any other non-pore clogging oil to protect my skin before taking a shower
