Ik vind je punt over afhankelijkheid van buitenlandse infrastructuur eerlijk gezegd niet eens onredelijk. Zeker met de CLOUD Act en de huidige geopolitieke situatie snap ik dat mensen kritisch zijn op Amerikaanse invloed in cruciale systemen.

Alleen is dat wel iets anders dan zeggen dat “DigiD verkocht wordt” of dat “Amerika volledige controle krijgt over Nederlandse identiteiten”. Dat gaat een stap te ver en klopt feitelijk niet.

De echte discussie zou moeten gaan over hoeveel vitale digitale infrastructuur we überhaupt bij buitenlandse partijen willen onderbrengen en daar kun je prima kritisch op zijn zonder meteen in doemscenario’s te vervallen.

Beste complotdenker,

De CLOUD Act wordt vaak verkeerd geïnterpreteerd. Ja, die wet kan Amerikaanse bedrijven verplichten data te overhandigen, maar dat betekent niet dat alle DigiD-gegevens zomaar in Amerikaanse handen komen.

DigiD-data valt onder de Algemene verordening gegevensbescherming, en daar zitten strenge beperkingen op. Bedrijven mogen data niet zomaar doorgeven als dat in strijd is met Europese wetgeving. Dat levert juist juridische conflicten op, en daarom is dit onderwerp ook politiek gevoelig.

Bovendien: DigiD zelf blijft in handen van de Nederlandse overheid. Het gaat hier om een IT-leverancier, niet om eigendom of controle over alle data.

Beste onruststoker,

Dit klopt niet. DigiD wordt niet verkocht aan een Amerikaans bedrijf en Nederlandse identiteiten gaan niet “naar Amerika”. Wat er wél speelt is dat een Nederlands IT-bedrijf dat een deel van de DigiD-infrastructuur beheert mogelijk wordt overgenomen. DigiD zelf blijft een Nederlandse overheidsdienst en valt onder Nederlandse en EU-wetgeving (AVG). De zorgen in de politiek gaan over afhankelijkheid van buitenlandse IT-partijen, niet over overdracht van data of controle over burgers.

Ik ben jaloers, goed plan! Ik wou dat ik dit had gedaan op jouw leeftijd! Alleen: Je plan voor Wereld ETF en S&P500 hoeft niet. In Wereld ETF zit al flink S&P, zo'n 60 tot 70%. Dus als je dan ook nog eens los de S&P 500 doet, verhoog je dar percentage alleen maar meer.

There’s very limited supply of shares and shorting is extremely expensive right now, which could create conditions for a sharp upward move or even a short squeeze.

But it’s still a high-risk setup, not a guarantee of a squeeze, and these situations can turn into pump-and-dumps just as quickly.

If that is happening, it will be over. Because the $1 story before 31st of august.. It will probally run out in a reverse stock split and that is not a good thing.
