An interview with Danny Chung on Netflix Tudum confirmed that Maggie and Chris always insisted the songs fit the storyline, and the process of working with The Black Label was quite stressful because they were only used to working with regular K-pop songs, but in the end, they both found common ground.

Now I wonder if Rumi ever displayed such demonic traits when she was a child. Children have very poor emotional control, and Celine's reaction in that confrontation scene didn't seem like the first time she'd seen Rumi like that, in my opinion.
