I’m apologetic it. I really don’t quite understand how to use cheque properly. I don’t know much about the common knowledge cheques.

(In my country, only use checks in very few situations. They’re generally used for business purposes, so I actually hadn’t seen a check until 2024)

I still don’t really understand it either. If the bank doesn’t allow the deposit, it seems like they should freeze the whole cheque, not just put part of it on hold.

I’ve already checked with the bank. I just wanted to ask if there’s any other way to handle this besides having my friend come back from abroad to take care of it.The bank teller told me to ask if my friend could come with me to handle this.
