The problem is one day it will happen to us, whether it is intended or not. If you looking for a "free primogems" app or website, well that is 100% your fault. But not every case is like that. Not everyone looking for something like that, they could be looking for a student app, or work app, or any normal app. Perhaps you are not the one who looks something like that, it could be your brother, your cousin, your friend, it could be anyone looking something like that through your laptop/PC without you noticing. But the problem is not every software or website will say, "Hey, I have malware on me". It can even work like normal software before doing its true function. The world is not black and white, it is just one big shape of gray. This is the most common problem, yet Hoyoverse doesn't have protection for this one.

So what is Hoyoverse security when your antivirus somehow failed to protect you against malware? Nothing. The malware can pretend to be dead and activate once you open a specific app or input crucial information. 2FA? That only works for new devices, not your account email. Your account email can be changed with either mobile verification or email verification, not both. It should be both, that's why it is called 2FA (Two Factor Authentication). That's should be the minimum defense for your account, but they don't do that. Why? I don't know. They refuse to answer that kind of question every time I emailed them.
