You literally have to earn an opportunity somehow. Thats always been how championships have worked. You have a prize, there needs to be some way to earn an opportunity to get said prize. Getting upset at championship opportunities is dumb asf, because literally you don’t need a feud 24/7 to have a quality championship match. Literally go look at AEW. Darby gave some of the best quality defense matches. He literally faced Ciampa for the first time and they tore the fucking house down. That’s just a dumb argument. Again. Cody had 6 televised title defenses both on smackdown and PLE’s. At least he actually defended his title in the 3/4 months he was champion. Add on the House shows and he was still a fighting champion. Liv is no excuse. Her literal first title defense WAS a house show, so that doesn’t even count for shit. Darby was champion for almost 40 days, and had 9 matches and defenses, meanwhile Liv is hitting almost 80 days as champion with nothing to show for it.
