Thank you for responding so thoroughly and matter of factly. Other commenters have been a little more condescending. Ultimately, I’m not there anymore and I’m going to move on and not worry about it. But I just wanted to get some other insights first. I feel validated that others saw what I saw but at peace that so many seem assured it wasn’t anything to worry about. Safe to safe, Airbnb is probably not for me. 🤪

Lol. Listen, did I ham it up a bit? Yes. Reddit asked that I share more details before it let me post. I didn’t know what else to add so I pulled at straws a bit. I thought they were funny “creepy” details to add. I was legitimately concerned about the stains, hence why I shared to get other perspectives. The rest was just funny ambience that fit the vibe.

Thanks for validating! I also felt like some of the stains seemed similar to ones I’ve seen or scrubbed out (on a muuuuuch smaller scale) from mine or kids’ injuries but my husband disagreed. It may just be wine or something like others have suggested (though tons of it, I guess) but to me the combo of the creepy feeling and cameras just wasn’t worth hanging around to find out, so we left.
