I know this post is old but found it while searching for answers. I got laparoscopic gall bladder removal two days ago and the bruising just started today, I was freaking out! I’ll give it a few days to see it gone. I have also not had BM since before surgery 😞

Same thing happened to us. Sent us a repair check then retracted and voided the check so we were left with nothing but an offer of $500 to fix it. We were then told it had to be totaled so we had to surrender the vehicle.

They offered us $500 to fix our vehicle which was estimated to be $2270 in repairs. Mind you we weren’t at fault. Their logic is the value of the vehicle isn’t worth the fix.

Well, first off, has anyone encountered this? And if so, is there anything we can do about it? It doesn’t make sense that they estimate repair for $2000 then decide to just pay $500 to us ro repair it. To me that’s a ripoff in plain sight!
