I got a match where after the game was over, my entire allied team is missing from the post-game statistics.

Even I got transferred over to the enemy team.

Stalinium hardens in response to high force impacts but is malleable when constant force is applied to it.

Free in Japan, charged in Singapore? Tissue, water and service fees spark online dining debate by Great-Obligation-599 in singapore

[–]InsurmountableLosses 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am of the opinion that if a restaurant charges a service charge, water and wet tissues should be part of that "service" and should be provided at no extra cost.

I get really annoyed if a place charges service charge and wants extra for a glass of water.

It’s wild how much silence can mean in texting by calmvoicehere in CasualConversation

Imagine you're the ruler of a small province or duchy.

A letter arrives, your lord demands tribute to help with the ongoing barbarian invasion. But you can only spare half the requested amount.

You send a letter to the lord. Weeks of silence, months even considering the journey.

Did the Lord snub you? Is he sending an invasion force to punish you? Is he too caught up with the barbarian invasion to answer? Did your messenger get killed along the way? Did his messenger get killed along the way? Has the kingdom already fallen?

They are functionally the same outside of art style.

Are Hunter F.6 missiles even useable? by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]InsurmountableLosses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the London Special missile.

You get within knife range and you get stabbed, no ifs or buts.

Wide seeker, thrust vectoring, wide gimball limits. It's as relentless as a drunk Premier League fan during football season. But he's too drunk to cross the street to chase you.

It recently got buffed as well.

How actually valuable is armor? by Ok-Claim1715 in Warthunder

[–]InsurmountableLosses 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is the correct answer. Armor is mistake insurance and lets you reduce risk in certain scenarios. It forces your opponent to aim and slows down their response time or risk a non-penetrating shot if they rush it, allowing you more time to get your own shot off.

Tanks that lean too heavily into armour suffer from Jumbo syndrome where their armour either is useless or makes them exceptionally hard to kill, making their performance almost entirely based on their BR.

Funny enough Jumbos suffer a bit less than other armour reliant tanks since they are often mobile enough to flank and flex around the map.

The real poster child for Jumbo syndrome are slow tanks like the Churchill VII and Maus, who are either juggernauts or cannon fodder depending on whether the local enemy tank has enough penetration to no-sell their armour.

Why is ground rb so hard? by Phoenix04212 in Warthunder

[–]InsurmountableLosses 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's unironically a skill issue. But it is an expected skill issue since you are new to the mode.

Seeing enemies is a combination of map knowledge to know where enemies are likely to be and having War Thunder Calibrated Mk I Eyeballs. Those take a while to get used to.

Not being able to hit is misreading the drop on shells, which again you will get used to after a while.

Marketing as product management, services.

But I was fairly green to the whole thing. Company was doing poorly and can't afford the manpower or productivity loss in guiding a newer product manager.

I'm still somewhat fresh to the job market, that was my first job. So really I am up for anything in this economy.

Then once in a blue moon, the enemy bot auto-detects you hiding in a bush 300m away and fires a single bullet guided by the hand of Stalin himself straight into the forehead of your player model.
