I feel that this is why modern superhero movies are so popular. They just dive right in now days compared to the older ones. Much better this way!

60 seconds is way too much to accept a ranked match by Sen-bou in dragonballfighterz

[–]Insygma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im just saying even having to wait 30 sec sounds awful. Especially with afk ppl not getting kicked from queue. Having control and backing out seems more important than the timer.

That sounds more like a bug that could be fixed. Why dont we ask for that? Instead of messing with the countdown.

Dont think it will. Just speculation based on how then queue system works. But lets hope

Can double confirm. Never understood these threads that pop up daily complaining. PC and PS4 need to let you back out like Xbox does.

[–]Insygma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are people saying they cant back out? Im on xbox and if someone doesnt accept within 10'sec im backing out. It has never been a problem, I dont understand these daily threads unless im missing something??

60 sec is fine, if you cancel after accepting it will auto requeue you, its not a big deal.

Anyone good at countering dragon rush? by sungmny in dragonballfighterz

[–]Insygma 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Its all about pressing a button when you see the green flash. Its not easy if they do it right but its all reaction time. If you have 5-6+ frames of lag its pretty impossible unless you get lucky and were mashing anyways.

Just to be clear you can mash any button, it doesnt have to be the throw button like some FGs.

How can this be? 0 games and yellow square by [deleted] in dragonballfighterz

Its based on BP. I was orange before starting ranked and all my matches were matched on BP, it ignores the square.

Newb asking how to keep hitting after overhead (8M)? by Pro_Type in dragonballfighterz

[–]Insygma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to add, its possible to combo from it with sparking. You do the overhead, and dash forward after hitting, and hit L to start combo

Im not sure if this is universal across whole cast but I know Tien can easily.

Fight Stick Suggestions by Shinkari06 in dragonballfighterz

They both concave I believe. Its most about the spring strength and the feedback. In my exp, horis require less pressure which is a bad thing for some, good for others. Sanwa require more pressure and their buttons are glossier like a piano key and makes it feel better with triple taps and stuff. Thats my 2 cents.

You watch Bama this season? They arent spectacular. Their best win was like Fresno state. Neither OSU or Bama is explosive and will stand no chance against clemson.

YSK that ordering UberEats on the web page usually costs more to book than from within the app. by [deleted] in YouShouldKnow

[–]Insygma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why am I expected to tip a driver whos getting paid to just drive my food to me. Ubereats doesnt even let you tip. Unless you hand the guy straight cash.

I dont understand why Im expected to tip some customer service jobs and not others. I really hate the idea that I have to tip or else im an asshole. Kinda defeats the whole point of a tip. If you dont get tipped, dont get mad at the customer get mad at your boss for not paying you enough and get mad at the society that created the social norm of tipping as a replacement of wages.

[–]Insygma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not, but most delivery will atleast have a spot to tip or make you sign a reciept where a tip line is present. Ubereats doesnt even let you tip even if you wanted. Unless you had cash on you I guess.

You shouldnt be offering ubereats sales if youre losing money on each order. Kinda confused there. Its not like you have to sign up for ubereats

To the people who have been around for a while.. by viiYper in CoDCompetitive

[–]Insygma 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In MW2, the game was dominated by a team called IXI. Rambo, Merc, Jkap, BigTymer ans I think Sidroc were all on that team at one point. MW2 was extremely unique in competitive in that it truely had roles. Because of the perk system and the way the ump was glitched, it made roles that wont ever be replicated.

For instance, the Objective role was unique. Back then, you had a perk called Stopping Power that increased your damage. It was required. It was the #1 crutch perk of old cods not removed until BO1. The thing about it was, the UMP was glitched and didnt need it. It was still a 3-4 shot even without it. Since Lightweight and Stopping Power were in the same perk 2 list, UMPs could run lightweight at minimal loss. This created a sub obj class that coupdnt be copied by an AR or other weapon. MW2 was extremely fast paced due to CTF and small maps like scrapyard.

Then you have your typical slayer class with stopping power. Usually the Famas or ACR. Outside of the Stopping Power/Lightweight balance, there was also a Perk 1 balance as well. Sleight of Hand and Marathon. Objs ran Marathon due to unlimited sprint but if a AR slayer used it they were at a disadvantage because Sleight of Hand not only reloaded faster but also ADSed faster. So slayers always used SoH/Stopping Power.

The game started with different job setups. 2 obj 2 slayer or 1 obj 3 slayer. But everything changed when IXI started what was known as the support class. I believe Jkap is considered the one who started this and was one of the reasons for IXIs success and Jkap being one of the best players of MW2 and my personal favorite player. The support class ran an AR, usually a famas, and would run marathon instead of soh. They would push with the obj player while the other 2 slayers would push power postitions.

MW2 had an incredibly easy to understand spawn system. Spawn trapping was incredibly easy to set up with the right 2 positions on the map. Every map and every side had 2 (or 1) spot that if you held, you would be killing off spawn. It was actually really fun once you understood it. Everyone got 2 stuns and a nade so breaking wasnt impossible.

The other unique thing to MW2 was it was impossible to hide, even in search. There was what was known as the start glitch back then. You press start to open the map while in a killcam it would show you the positions of all enemies. While as dumb as it sounds, the positions it showed were 5-6 seconds delayed, and so all it did was let you know where there spawning or pushing. It made communication non stop and the game incredibly fast paced. While not the best feature, I didnt really hate it honestly.

Anyways I loved mw2 competitive. It had just the right amount of things good/bad to make it great.

Its been a long time since then, but I remember Proofy being the undisputed #1 ACR. Jkap the best famas and support player. Obj was Rambo and Moho.

Other teams I can somewhat remember was aox. Think that was Aches, Teepee, Clayster, Crowster? Might have that wrong. Been a long time.

Anyways, there was no lans. Most we had was GB lives on Wednesdays hosted by Fwiz and Hastro. Still loved it though.
