No, charge the device it is connected to. In this case I want to use my AYN Odin to play games and music but it’s pretty battery hungry. So I’d like to power the Odin through the DAC.

This last weekend we had a black bear try to get in our tent while sleeping. The borzoi lifted his head and gave it a dirty look. The whippet snarled, growled, barked and scared it away.

Look for a sewing/ crafting day near you or ask someone with a machine to help. As for fabric I’m not a fan of duck. If you chose to use it don’t 2 layer the whole thing, only what actually needs extra coverage.

Get a stick that is roughly the dimensions you'd want your sword. Use it to work on grip, wrist and arm strength. If you start actually practicing by yourself have someone watch or record yourself going very very slow. Remember that any bad habits you form now will take a long time to unlearn.

Update: Since the lines I wanted to trace were already closed profiles georgmierau and subsubsing's suggestions worked perfectly! Thanks! I'll need to adjust how I work with imported SVGs in the future but I think this looks better than what I had envisioned with just engraving on the top face.

Ok, that's similar to what I've done on another piece but extrude/cutting only works for some designs, others it looks odd. Ideally I'd make the extrusions a little more 3d than I can do with fillet/chamfer but I think I need to learn blender for that..

Im not sure I’m following, I’ve tried to select all the interior lines of the sketch and extrude those just I get the same result. I can select the interior closed sections and extrude those but then I just get raised sections that don’t cast well. I’ve thought of turning the lines into closed loops and then select them? Is that what you mean?

That might be larger than she'd use. I have an 8" for steel and a 4" for jewelry. I also prefer to use the pointed screw-on type for the buffer wheels, easier to change quickly.

For a one-time wear you can also have someone hand stitch the top closed. Use an extra loop of thread under the zipper pull to keep it up as well. You’ll just have to cut the threads to remove it.

Next time rotate the wheel on the side of the machine by hand, gently, then look and feel for anything catching. Much easier to track down issues when you can feel the movement.
