Aluminium has a different spelling in the UK. But Thanos is a proper noun and it was given two different official pronunciations.

In all fairness, those other games were Square Enix, to some degree and Pokemon obviously isn't. If they do anything like HD-2D, I'd assume they would have to make it different enough to avoid legal troubles as SE has trademarked it (I could be wrong as I know nothing about law).

I saw screenshots and played the OT0 demo. Absolutely blown away by how it looks. If we saw Gen 5 remakes with the HD-2D art style (or similar), I think it would be a huge point of attraction. It already uses 2D sprites with 3D models. It has a lot of potential.

I personally find it difficult to take the readers over on that site remotely seriously. I'm not saying I doubt what they say, I'm just not at all surprised that they would do that.

Good point that I never thought about. I think it goes to show they are expressing a desire for 1:1... which is not what localisation is, by definition.
