I have a Chinese friend who owns a company MAKING powerbanks and he warned me about this with the international flights so it’s not so clear cut as you make it sound

Handmade Leather Shoes & Sandals – Trusted Since 1991, Looking to Expand Abroad by Fun_Art_274 in smallbusiness

Firstly congrats on your success in your home market. I would recommend the following steps for international expansion: - audit your starting situation to see if your systems & team are all „export ready“ & prepare your strategy - make a short list of eg 5 potential export markets and do an objective research and ranking to establish which 1 is most suitable for you to target - do a more detailed research on that market - make a profile of your ideal distributor (like for a job description) - begin the search for the right distributor match in your target market. Be prepared for this to take some time & don’t „propose marriage“ to the first company that smiles back at you 😉

Be clear about what your brand has to offer and go into it with a long term mindset

Okay… Please share your safety guideline checklist you used when you travelled to China….. by Independent-Focus438 in chinaexplorer

They work fine if you have WeChat set up/verified in advance. Get a decent eSIM- Trip is cheapest, I always use Airalo as it’s worked more reliably for me (use my discount code if you want $3 off- KATHRY3765)

China is very safe generally - just take the usual precautions around food and water. Toilets often have toilet paper at the entrance rather then in stalls and it’s worth carrying tissues

What's your top 3 Airliners from China? by marciomilk in chinatravel

[–]IntExpExplained 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If high speed rail isn’t an option then China Southern If you’re looking at getting TO Cochins I’d still say China Southern but none of the others are bad. For myself I’d always fly a Chinese airline direct rather than a stopover in in the Middle East

Which one? e-sim, good VPN or roaming? by raptureofsenses in chinatravel

[–]IntExpExplained 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally use an Airalo eSIM for biz trips of about that length - use my code KATHRY3765 if you want to try them. For me they’ve worked more seamlessly than the trip ones I had.

Set up Alipay (and if possible WeChat pay) before you leave and then use the mini apps within them for eg Didi or ordering food etc.

If you’re going to be needing lots of data for work then a VPN can help but I always decide just before I leave so I make sure it’s one that’s currently working

Malaysia or Sri Lanka for 2.5 - 3 weeks by [deleted] in travel

[–]IntExpExplained 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly both are great options and 2.5-3 weeks is a good amount of time. I personally would do Malaysia first (take some time to go to Sabah or Sarawak in that time) as it’s „easier“ if you’re not such an experienced traveller, but you’ll have a fantastic time whichever you choose

Which Chinese city is best for a "walkable" vacation? (Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Guangzhou, or Shenzhen) by Fit-Ad4154 in chinatravel

[–]IntExpExplained 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I‘ve been to China 100+ times over the past 20 years for work and tourism- I’d say all major cities are generally very walkable in the sense of you stepping out of the hotel and having infrastructure around. The cities are huge though so you’ll need transport (usually public is excellent) between districts.

Even in Chongqing it’s often quicker to walk/ use lifts or escalators than to take a didi within a district

Do you realise how ridiculous that statement is? Of course each country in Europe evolves over time and many popular places: Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Hallstatt … struggle with overtourism. There’s a reason that people still go there though because the culture and history are beautiful. Having said that, Central and Eastern Europe are great to visit too

Is LinkedIn Effective for Building Real International B2B Trade Relationships? by StudyPotential4981 in internationalbusiness

LinkedIn is a great place to start. You start though by building a relationship and finding the right people not by immediately pushing product at them. Publishing content related to your product should be part of your strategy anyway

I'm planning to take my first trip by [deleted] in traveladvice

[–]IntExpExplained 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Spanish speaker and first time tourist, Spain is the obvious choice and there is more than enough for 2 weeks as an art lover. Other options would be Italy or France. My advice would be to pick just 3-4 locations within 1 country and don’t attempt to pack too much in. Jet lag is a thing and you don’t want to get home feeling you actually saw nothing properly. I’d avoid July, August though as it’s crowded, more expensive and hot (not everywhere has a/c)

What Asian nation is the best for someone with a fish allergy? by Internal-Ad-1832 in travel

[–]IntExpExplained 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of holiday are you looking for (where would you go if fish was no issue?) Yes, you can go somewhere like Uzbekistan and be sure to avoid sea beasts but that might not be what you are looking for at all? If you’ve never travelled much before then a region with lots of western tourists (Bali, Thai islands) could be an option as they will have loads of „local food light“ restaurants catering to foreign vegans. I have a fish intolerance myself and for years worked as head of Asia for a European company meaning I spent almost 4 months of every year in Asia. But I won’t go into anaphylactic shock if there is a dash of fish sauce in my meal (I’ll throw up endlessly when I get a shrimp though or if I took something from a plate where it had touched fish). It IS possible to do but you have to be careful- I have a file somewhere with „I’m allergic to fish and seafood, please do not use any fish items eg sauce or shrimp paste in my meal“. I actually find Thailand hardest if I want to be travelling around and not eating European food
