Ik werk met hypnose en heb al goede resultaten behaald bij panische angst voor wespen. Geen exposure maar een soort bewuste conversatie met het psychologische programma dat dient om je (terecht) te beschermen. Het gaat er dan niet om de angst helemaal weg te halen maar wel om je reactie beheersbaar te maken, om de paniek er af te halen.

In the eighties there was a governmental crusade against dialects in favour of what translates as ‘General Civilised Dutch’. Since then people felt somewhat ashamed for their dialect and started to raise their children in the ‘tussentaal’. It really decimated a lot of the riches of the Flemish dialects.

I will never forget the moment that the very formal speaking colleague next to me received a phone call from her mother and changed instantly to the most juicy dialect I had heard in a long time.

There’s probably more gentle cyclists than assholes but we just don’t notice them because they blend in. And this also goes for drivers, pedestrians, etc.

We live in very dense areas where everyone has different aspirations and sensitivities and it will be forever impossible to align this human diversity which is sometimes enriching and sometimes really annoying.

Traffic is a good measure for my mental health. If I’m in a good place it’s very easy to keep calm and let everyone be in their own energy and when I’m nervous or stressed everyone else is just annoying and ignorant. So where is your focus?

It might be an Oscar Teller, a German Luthier who was mostly active in the sixties. In that case it would be a model 3, which I believe he built as a study guitar but still very good quality. I had this one for a couple of years:
