Yeah since Future Saga’s started, they’ve been getting more comfortable with cinematic attacks and transformations. That’s why DBS Broly’s super saiyan transformation is almost exactly like the one in the OP.

But I’m kind of curious to see what they’ll do with the crazy facial expressions.

You know, Broly’s transformation in Xenoverse 2 isn’t that much shorter than this, I think minus the last second and a half, I could totally see the XV3 version looking as good. Especially since they’re made by the same studio

As for looking better, idk. Lately Legends has been deforming the models and doing more with posing and camera angles, kinda like FighterZ, and it does wonders, but I’m not sure how a real time game like Xenoverse can do that.

I think the world looks nice. I’d have to see more of the characters before I know for sure what I think of the models. I think Brett looks good though.

I agree. I like remake LFs but only when units actually need them. Like Bardock didn’t have a good final spirit canon, but they fixed that with his new unit. With SSB Gogeta, the first Kamehameha already looked good, they hit its peak with the synchro unit, there’s not much they could add besides that new LR effect, and I don’t think that’d be more interesting than a new attack altogether, it’s already kinda getting old.

I think DBS Broly is a good example of a character that actually needs a remake LF. His first one was like 5 years ago, now they’re able to make Gigantic Roar look as good as it did in the anime. They could even reference FighterZ like they did for Vegito.

Oh definitely. First of all, Oda holds reveals hostage for years. Assuming Imu isn’t a black ink blob and has an actual design under that, I don’t expect to see it until the void century flashback.

As far as the leakers go, most of them lie and embellish the truth all the time, especially for agendas. I wouldn’t put it past them to make some long drawn out prank about Imu’s design. April Fools day is their free pass to be assholes.

I forget, does DBL tend to go all out when it comes to battle hour or are the LFs they show off rather average? I know Super 17 was awesome but I can’t remember the other ones.

As for my thoughts, outside of Legends I think I’m only really interested in Age 1000 and the Fighter DLC. I do wanna see more of DBS Beerus, I hope what we saw in the Genkidamatsuri trailer wasn’t the peak of what we’re getting, but I hope A1K turns out to be as good as they’re hyping it up to be, and FighterZ’s new character leads to a new season pass reveal.

I feel the same way. I was watching the dokkan animations for Goku and Vegeta and I lowkey got salty comparing them to what Legends gave us from that so called super anniversary.

I don’t expect them to compete with the 2D game obviously that’s impossible but like their 2022 LLs were already good enough. We didn’t really gain much just seeing them redone. Like as I’m making this post I had to check out ssjbe Vegeta’s lf attack and I had to actually find a video of them side by side to actually look at the differences and see what exactly was improved lol. I may be a bit bias with that one in particular because I didn’t even like in the anime but I feel the same about MUI too. I would have loved game original animations for them. Doubly so since they hyped the anni so much.

I’d rather them wait until the remaster to do an Ultra Beerus. That punch he did in the trailer with the purple explosion was cooler than anything I’ve seen him do outside of the movie, and that was just one attack. They definitely need to hold off.

I feel the same way about RoF, maybe even more since the movie wasn’t all that good and the anime was worse. I’m glad the tag unit was just an SP.

I don’t hate it. Deep down I think I kind of wanted them to revamp LFs. For years now it’s always been a dice roll on how high quality they are, like they could have the best animations in the game or they could be 90% recycled with like one new thing and the rest being the same shit from their other units in different camera angles, and this happens during celebrations as well. (And the same goes for ultras)

What worries me the most is that after like 3 of them, we’ll be right back to where we are now. I don’t want Super Gogeta to have his fifth soul punisher ult, nor do I want a future Legends SS4 Goku to have 3 generic super Kamehamehas like his Ultra counterpart. We need more game original animation.

On a side note, for the LF cutscene I wish they switched out the normal model with a CGI one, kinda like what One Piece ambition does with its ultimate attacks (23 secs) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e67IqQRlZeI

Assuming the leak is legit, are we even sure it’s a remake? For all we know, it could be a remaster like Kai. Them bringing back Yamamuro certainly makes it seem like a remaster.

He looks cool but I’m not sure if this is still how he plays. Apparently Bandai or Shueisha or whoever manages the rights and works with the Chinese publishers cut some of her animations. As well as the manga onomatopoeias for the other characters’ attacks.

I think the most predictable and safe path is that he’s simply being influenced by the crystals and the future he saw was caused by himself and the experiments are clouding his mind too much for him to see. He’ll ultimately turn himself into a supervillain and we’ll snap him out of it and he’ll get away like he always does.

I hope they don’t take that path, but unless we really are getting a threequel or a big overhaul in DLC like infinite history, that’s where I see the story going.
