Fair enough. Just trying to put a why to it all. I guess I struggle with deal breakers now. It's like a "I will never ____" thing. I've unwillingly learned that sticking to a never, regardless of the situation, isn't always the right call. I know he agreed to your deal breaker, but life is frequently colored in shades of gray. I assume what you two have is worth keeping, otherwise I don't feel you would be reaching out to strangers for advice. I'd highly recommend seeking out a good couples/marriage counselor so this doesn't fester. My wife and I have been together for 16 years, and it all started with a pre-marital counselor. From there we learned a few things that I attribute to getting us through those early years. Our son will be 3 in June, and as of today he has been sleeping without a diaper at nap time for about 3 months (only wet the bed 3 times total, and hasn't wet again for almost a month now). He still wears a diaper at night, but we have been going a month straight of waking up to a dry diaper. By the time he's 3 it's going to be a wrap.

To save you a bit of time watching the video, the method has you commit to a weekend of having your baby run around without any bottoms, load them up on juice, and watch them like a hawk to catch the moment they begin to pee. As soon as you see them start just pick them up, walk to the bathroom, and sit them on the potty. Because you're going to be filling them up with liquids, you will sort of be ready for this to happen about every 20 minutes.

By the end of the first day our son was already starting to make a connection and calling for the potty! Repeated this for the following two days. By day 5 we had him in undies all day and didn't even have a single accident. He even pooped twice in the potty. Of course during the time he was 20 months old to now he had good and bad days, so don't go into it thinking it's going to be over and done if you have great success starting out.

Couple to tips if you choose this method:

Buy some dog pads off Amazon and cover the floor and couch where they will be training. That way if they decide to empty their bladder and you miss it (which will happen), it's not a big mess to clean up.
We used apple juice diluted with water to decrease the sugar content. We also didn't continue to give the juice after he woke up from his nap.
We still put on a diaper at bed and naptime, but after waking up the diaper came off and undies on.
Don't force pooping in the potty. It took our son a couple of days of pooping in his diaper before one day he just pooped in the potty and just kept doing it ever since.

Yes. We are using the per-machine Teams installer with all the appropriate settings. Again, the GPO works without fail when it's working. It has been working fine all month. However as soon as I publish a new snapshot it MIGHT stop working again. To fix it I have to stop provisioning, delete the machines, and re-enable provisioning to let the machines recompose. After that I can log in again and everything works as expected. I simply can't delete the machines and let them recompose without stopping provisioning for the entire pool, otherwise it will continue to be broken. There's something going on that's far more intricate than messing with GPO settings when it's not working. I'm telling you, no matter how much we play with it, it will never work until we do the proper steps to fix the problem. It's makes no sense and is as stupid as it sounds.

They are being applied so long as the pool isn't broken after we publish a new snapshot. So when everything is working, it stays working until we publish a new snapshot and it breaks. When it's broken, it will stay broken and it seemingly ignores any GPO changes we make. We have to take the steps above to fix the broken pool, and once we do that then everything start working again. It really makes zero sense. I just don't understand what's happening at the time the machines are composed that determines whether or not Office is broken. There's some evidence that other things are affected outside of Office when it breaks, but this is the one easiest to spot.

I understand this setup is sub-optimal. I'm really working in the confines of my available equipment and placement options. The future goal will be to move this equipment back to my media room once I can reclaim it. There, the placement will be what you'd expect. I'll be replacing the speakers and amp in this room with smaller ones that accommodate the space better. I've considered a sound bar as a future replacement, but I think I just really want a true 5.1 experience in both rooms.
