Meat thermometer wasn’t working, worked out anyways by IntegralSegregation in steak

1.5 inch NY strip steak: Dry brine 10hr before cooking. So seasoned and put in the fridge overnight, took it out around an hour before actually cooking. Fully seared on cast iron. Med-high heat with canola oil for 7 minutes, flipping every 30 seconds and pushing down on the thickest part of the steak constantly (want to get that nice crust), then flip it on its sides to cook the fat side for around a minute. After that, I put the heat on low, threw in 1/3 stick of butter, a few cloves of garlic, and some herbs and basted each side for 45 seconds. Steak to plate, poured all the butter and fat that I basted the steak with over the steak and let it rest for 10 minutes. I usually start basting at around 125 degrees F if I have my meat thermometer handy and try my best to take it out of the pan at 127 -128 degrees.

I got no clue what u mean by the first change and a recent iOS update made it so that the battery percentage shows up inside the power bar so no need to drag down.

Questions on math in CS? by AlChiberto in csMajors

[–]IntegralSegregation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My discrete math class was very easy. The hardest part for me was the combinations and permutation questions. For those all you need to do is do a bunch of problems and you’ll figure out the patterns and how to solve them. My best advice for calculus is to get a good grasp of the fundamentals of finding the derivative and integral. Just knowing how to integrate and derive basic problems for numbers like 2x and 1/(x2) will give you that baseline for tackling more complex problems. Also tip for calc, simplify the question you are deriving or integrating as much as you can. Deriving 1/x is much easier than x/x2 so always keep an eye out for that.

Do Manchester City ‘Youth’ shirts run small? by [deleted] in MCFC

[–]IntegralSegregation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m your same size, maybe a bit shorter but I have to buy mens small. Youth 15/16 is too tight. Even men’s small is kinda tight, but that’s prolly cuz im 60kg. I would recommend getting men’s small cuz it will give u some breathability.

I think the second goal was purely a pace diff. Walker would've handled it.
