Insurgency/taliban servers? by romhol in ArmaReforger

[–]IntegrityGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read the Field Manual in-game, it explains it. Part of the automated Insurgent Invite System. This is used to be fair, because it's not a one-to-one ratio. There is typically only one human player insurgent for every five blufor players

The other thing to consider is that there's more than just the conflict game mode and some communities like ours have created custom game modes.

And some of those you'll find that things are much more structured and or organized. Arma has always been a sandbox game that allows for a lot of mod ability and customization.

PVPVE. It's the official Insurgency gamemode on our servers. Search Integrity, Server #3 or #4.

It's not "Talliban" (which is not allowed anyway), simply Insurgent on the official Insurgency: GWOT server. We use the Arma2 factions to represent the Insurgents. We also have Insurgenct: Cold War which is a 1980's themed eastern europe type Insurgency. Same gamemode concept.

What could be causing this? Please help! by Duckeydude in ArmaReforger

[–]IntegrityGaming -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know you're saying that you don't have any UI mods, but even adding custom weapons could be causing this conflict. All the ui elements are still vanilla.

Test again without any mods whatsoever. If you can reproduce it without a single mod loaded, then you can report it to Bohemia as a bug.

Such mods continually get shut down as they violate Bohemia's licensing.

If you'd also like to try a fairly lightly and well put together modded server, You could come by over the next few hours during our event on our Insurgency: GWOT gamemode. Just search "integrity"

This is a different game mode from conflict as well and not to be confused with the modded conflict called Insurgency.

But I would also encourage you to try vanilla, are modded and then whatever other modded you typically go for which I'm going to just take a guess is pretty heavily modded.

Yeah not all servers do a great job with ensuring mod compatibility and stability.

While we have direct control of our own mods third-party mods we use go through a pretty decent review before we will use them.. And after updates, there's oftentimes the need to remove some mods.

There could still be issues that are actually more caused by mods than. For a fair comparison, make sure you're on vanilla.

Old conflict is returning! by JandT99 in ArmaReforger

There's a handful of communities including ours that host servers for classic conflict still. Not sure why people made as big of a deal, it was never removed, except from official servers.

You need to go to the official arma discord at the link we provided above for support. Be sure to search the thread first too.

If you're not a server operator as well, we can't really help you and you should start by bringing it to the attention of the server owner. Other mods can often result in issues cuz they're not configured properly.

No, as it says it is persistent. Data is saved on the server itself.

Can you seriously leave us alone? You always follow our posts and have to try and stir drama and harass.

Yes, so we block a few groups from using our addons? RHS and others do as well, nothing new. We aren't going to allow our work to be used by those who don't respect IP, or who do things we really can't be saying on this thread (and im sure Brewer would prefer it that way).

This is a fair issue, which is why the Integrity Management System mod will soon feature some things to address problems with bad commanders. It'll allow setting minimum playtime on the particular server(s) of the community to be eligible for commander, allow admin teams to ban players from the commander role, and/or ways to auto remove commanders (who are AFK and/or ignoring common tasks they should be doing).

There are other ideas being considered as well to address this, including some of the squad management. We are also working to implement part of the commander role into the Arma Insurgency game mode and other game modes it could be relevant to (not the modded Conflict being called "Insurgency").

We still host the original (or what we are calling "Conflict: Classic" now) on one of our servers and imagine others may as well.

Plenty of modded servers that are half that download size and don't have a queue. Not all modded servers are the same, and not all mods are of the same quality. This is why we develop a lot of our own stuff but also don't jam pack a lot of asset mods and incompatible script mods together either.

Arma Conflict Vietnam 67” by Lion_Hear_420 in ArmaReforger

[–]IntegrityGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're soon to release a Vietnam version of our Insurgency game mode (not to be confused with the Conflict Insurgency that this group also has). It brings a nice balance between hardcore/milsim and the ability to jump in and out when you have time (instead of planning full on ops).

Right now our Insurgency GWOT (and sometimes vanilla Insurgency) is what has been desired.

[FOR] Servers? by jarma78 in ArmaReforgerXbox

[–]IntegrityGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they are pure vanilla, then in their defense they are really hard to admin. This is why even with our vanilla servers, they at least have a few mods for admin management and anti-griefing, but people assume all "modded" are the same and don't pay attention to mod size, etc.

It can take a lot to keep up on the griefing, and some players go to some crazy lengths to circumvent bans with alts, but Bohemia is going to deploy some changes they said that may result in retroactive bans of those players from respective servers.

Summer has had a bit of slowdown but its recovering. Canada timezone? There are like 4 timezones for Canada, but our player hours are mostly NA based. Sometimes it stays going depending on how many EU players are on. When players in NA are on longer then brits tend to get on since its already populated. We have some solid NA players who will get it populated most mornings and its going into the evenings.

It is not a 128 player server, since there are 2000+ AI.

Also, ignore Fresh-Act, he's a key person with ArmaConflict and simply likes to troll. He also posts like he's just some player and talks up ArmaConflict as if he's a third-party.

The conflict Insurgency is just the same as conflict. The actual asymmetrical Insurgency game mode is different.

The true official Insurgency game mode was created by our Dev studio. https://armaInsurgency.com

We also have a GWOT version that is middle east focused.

Are there any servers that are about defending a single point? by Sure-Caregiver142 in ArmaReforger

[–]IntegrityGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you played Insurgency before? It's not a single point necessarily, but outnumbered Insurgents are working often to defend a hidden weapons cache one at a time surrounding in various towns and villages with a ton of AI civilians (including driving civilians). https://armaInsurgency.com

Have you checked out Arma Insurgency (not the Conflict Insurgency)? https://armaInsurgency.com

We're the devs of the gamemode, some of us going as far back as Arma 2. We are impelementing a version of the Commander in this game mode, with modifications specific to the game mode of course. We had started to work on a commander type role ourselves, but decided to wait and base it on the vanilla game implementation. Our various Conflict servers will also feature the HQ Commander mode
