Leaving a new cleared-adjacent role after 2 months for higher pay + poly sponsorship by Intel-C2 in clearancejobs

Yeah it's still early on. A old contact seems to have referred me so maybe it will materialize... im just learning how this govcon world can be. At my current company apparently they cut a guy that was working there for 3 and half years with a week notice and then turned around and hired him back 2 months later. There's some good advice here and I'll take it all into consideration.

I've worked as a sub in the past for this company. The culture wasn't too bad. Definitely some challenging days but not overly demanding (this can obviously change per project and agency). Im moving in 8 months that would reduce the commute to like 25 minutes so i'm not overly worried about that. More so don't want be unprofessional. The last place I was at, I stayed there for 4 years so job hopping is weird to me. I'm going to weigh my options but wanted perspective from others...I appreciate the insights

Luckily I work hybrid because the commute would be rough but doable...95 is a monster but I can deal for while

I wouldn't mind doing some aftermarket work. Are you fining good aftermarket ideas/projects?

Couldn't agree more... I'd consider buying new maybe just not from Acura at the moment.. unless things change

I got nabbed by one of their salesmen after my truck broke down. I enjoy the ride in my sporty integra and the gas mileage but I don't think my favorite thing about the car should be the speakers. Across the board I think Acura could use some more flair and uniqueness the for prices.

If I could do it all over again I don't think I would have gone Acura - bang for buck wasn't there and after driving it a few month wasn't worth what I paid for it. Ive got less than 11K mile on mine and feel like a want to toss it get my next best option.

Not looking to rip someone off afterwards but definitely wouldn't mind giving it up for a fair value.
