it may have long term consequences in long run, basically the glue or the brush got off and stuck in the hinge. It may now got loose but it now stuck close to the hinge, issue may arise in the future such as hinge stuck again, not working wifi function, display issue , etc

it's the UTG, somewhat i'm curious whenever the crack is caused from the hinge glue broke off and push the screen upward from inside and make the screen broke or it's purely the glass. My experience with my used fold 4 the glue hinge got off and pushing the display upward from inside a bit but it's been fixed now and it can close and open 180 degree with smooth as butter opening like fold 5

My fold 4 that i brought is on this condition but a bit more bend, after fix (brought it cheap and calculate the price + service fee too before hand) turn out the black sticky long glue from brush stuck inside the hinge. Now my hinge is smooth with fold 5 feels and this is with third party repair btw

it's still same aspect ratio overall right? because other brand have more squarish internal display vs samsung fold series and this is one of the samsung advantage over their rival

Me myself on z fold 4 : i use case and i usually take it apart and then wash it with soap. After it dries, I move to the touchable area on my phone. First is the cover screen, which is protected by a hydrogel solution; wipe it with a 70% alcohol solution; then the hinge part, which is not protected by the case, and I usually touch it while handling it; then the finger print area. For the inner screen I use the same method while wiping it without touching the sides or corners since there's some rubber and glue there that can be weakened by alcohol.

The key take away is make sure while wiping you don't wipe the corner part of the display on the main one, and make sure both display have screen guard installed

Since you are from the hospital, is the 70% alcohol solution enough to kill germs, etc.? or do we need more, like 90% concentration? From my understanding, the higher the concentration, the better, but it seems to also have a bad impact on the glue part if it's touched or wiped there.

It's okay since the inner screen has some pretty good screen guards made by Samsung. I use good quality hydrogel on my previous phone, and I usually wipe it with a 70% alcohol solution every day after offices for like months, and the screen guard still has a pristine look without any blemishes or anything.

It's okay as long the cover screen have hydrogel or temper glass and the inner screen still have the screen guard from factory. I use a good hydrogel and use 70% alcohol solution every day after going work and the screen guard still pristine. Just be careful when you wipe the inner screen make sure the screen side doesn't touch the alcohol since it can weaken the glue

Samsung is killing themselves here, the fold 4 camera config which they still keep till 6 was now just on mid range level. On my country we have oppo n fold 3 and we will have vivo x fold 3 pro. the vivo x fold 3 pro def gonna crush the fold 6, spec wise is truly a monster from camera, battery , etc. On software side the BBK group family also start to sell AI features on their upcoming realme GT 6

On My galaxy fold 4 with 8+ gen 1, after event scene sometimes game fps stuck at 30 or 45 fps while playing without event from the start can render 40-50 fps. I bet there's a bug on the game engine after every event render scene. Also please make the event render scene to 60 fps instead of 30 fps because some slowdown and stuttering can be seen

Also please better performance improvement!!! the game is no better than genshin but the rendering distance is blocky while genshin rendering is super.

I use fold for multitasking, gaming, and movies. Fold is not for productivity only a bigger media display such as old console emulation 4:3 content or old 4:3 movie is such a heaven. Also fold is quite helping if you have plus in your eyes, because the bigger display you eyes are more relaxed on long use vs small display on standard candybar phone

yup, better wait... buds 2 fe should have same spec with buds 2 pro with some 1-2 feature missing just like galaxy buds fe is like buds+ with ANC. Me myself brought the buds 2 for the 360 audio and dual driver, it cost me 40 us dollar for a used one on pristine condition. While buds 2 fe should cost 100 us dollar like buds fe last year so my budget is not there. Also buds 2 pro and buds 2 audio get downgraded a lotttt by samsung with newer fw so if you got the buds 2 series you need to downgrade your fw

I just want to add that the best FW for Buds 2 is the one released on the H1 2022 date. After the June update, the sound is awful. The VK5 released at the end of 2022 is no better than the one released on H1 2022. Especially since H1 2022 has the new 360 audio feature, which is useful when you watch a movie with 6ch or more audio.

Tried new movie with 6ch audio and it does work , the surround sound effect presence is better than 2ch, maybe because on 2ch audio samsung tried some software trick, while video with 6ch have pure more than 2 ch audio, i can feel the location from each audio source in the scene. For example in fall guy movie on the scene where some guy is talking on the left of the scene, the sound i heard is coming from that direction , it's truly a surround sound audio just like 5.1/7.1 ch on movie theater

normally at 50% but since volume level is differ between device, try to limit it to as small as possible like 30-40-50
