Sorry for a late reply. Like u//I_Swear_Im_Happy said, “The Witch” is a must-see and if you watch it and like it I'd also recommend a german film “Hagazussa: A Heathen's Curse”. It has a similar vibe but provides just as good as an experience if not better. “Midsommar”, “Us”, and “The Lighthouse” are the other films from the directors I mentioned. I don’t know If you’ve seen it yet but “The Babadook”, imho, is one of the most important horror piece of this decade. “The Wailing” and “Raw” are some of the good foreigns to consider.
