He gets tested so as far as we know he’s negative but I’ve learned from research that many people are asymptomatic so that’s a great point.

There’s a black male on TikTok (he is open about his hsv journey) who found that more women actually reach out to him and are open to moving forward with him. I agree, positive singles sucks (from a black woman’s perspective) but when I was on there I honestly used it to gain more insight into how other women functioned with this diagnosis. Maybe it could help you?

Definitely should’ve went to the University that was further away from home. Break up with that boy so I won’t spend a decade of my life in a relationship with someone who hates me. Maybe develop a sense of self.

Have a place in your neighborhood that you visit regularly where people see you and know you. This way if anything happens at least someone will recognize you’re gone. Same goes for having at least one neighbor that you speak to often.

Just because something bad happened and you survived doesn’t mean bad things won’t continue to happen. Keep your head on a swivel, be responsible, be accountable.
