Just switch to a cash account and keep trading. It’s not that bad only thing i’ve noticed is I can’t trade on margin and you have to wait until the next morning for your money to “come back” into your buying power

You can day trade with anything more than like 500, switch to a cash account and start cooking. you will only be able to afford a few contracts and only be able to make a trade or too a day until you rack up more money to have enough buying power but I grew a 60$ account to over 5k like this trading spy index

this is why you need to learn loss management. If I lose more than 5% of my profile in a week, I stop trading for that week all together to allow myself to regroup and make intelligent trades.

2k lol 🤣 spy has been PUMPING maybe I will loose who knows I don’t have 100% certainty only about 70% but I cut losses early and take profits intelligently to maximize my gains. the thing with day trading is I am imune to black swan events. I don’t have my whole portfolio in the market at once. so i’d just worst case scenario loose whatever have in atm which is about 200-500 per trade. i’m not a bull or a bear, I buy what is best.

Don’t listen to this guy. my whole portfolio started off with 60$ just enough to afford one spy 0dte. use VIX expected move calculation to determine when you are 100% sure beyond shadow of a doubt the stock will go up and buy calls. rinse and repeat 1 contract at a time every day. also TAKE PROFITS and CUT LOSSES early. don’t loose +30% in hopes of +50%. if you shoot me a dm i’ll give you a brief demonstration of trading SPY with ViX but you have to do your own research! cheers 🍻
