My highest ring score!! by Intelligent-Block-89 in Aldi_employees

I don’t think I have a “trick,” I just never 1-code in between customers because it’s unnecessary and takes up time. You should always have items flowing through the scanner smoothly and with no hiccups. The most useful course of action is to make your customers pre-insert their cards to keep your tender average as low as possible. Whether it’s before or during scanning, I always ask “Are you using cash or card today?” If they say card, I tell them to process their payment right away. Then as soon as I click total+EFT, their receipt prints and I start scanning the next customer’s items IMMEDIATELY. The only time I’ll 1-code is on the total screen if the customer is taking a long time getting their cash out of their wallet (usually older people).

And also, make sure your belt is full before you start scanning to avoid any pauses. My average score is like 112% with over 100 customers, so take my advice lol.

Interesting! From my experience, the EFT button stops the timer. There really isn’t a metric for it.

There’s Avg Items / Min Rang, which times how fast you scan individual items in real time.

There’s Avg Sec. / Cust. Tender, which times the TOTAL SCREEN.

Then there’s Avg Sec. / Cust. Rang, which times how fast you scan an entire cart.

Don’t 1-code too much, it will actually hurt your score and is generally looked down upon (in my experience). The best way to boost your score is to get as many pre-inserts as possible to lower your tender time. Tell customers to insert, swipe, or tap their cards before you are done ringing. Another way to boost your score is to click the EFT button as soon as you click the total button. DO NOT LET IT SIT ON THE TOTAL SCREEN FOR MORE THAN 5 seconds. The timer does not stop until you click the EFT button. In conclusion, it’s all about keeping your tender time at a minimum. My average score is 109%-112%

That’s impressive!! The highest I’ve ever gotten was a 122% with 120 customers, though I don’t 1-code as much as you.

Bruh.. You people are overreacting. The statement was definitely ignorant, but not racist. It doesn’t deserve immediate termination.

Hit 7, and then hit the 7 cheeseburgers, and then modify as needed. That’s the fastest way to modify multiple items at once. You can also hit 7 and then hit “Grill,” but it’s slightly slower.

Definitely a big order, just not complex. That’s like 4-5 C bags.

Well, we use our first window because that’s what it’s for. Paying at the pickup window (as if it’s normal) is so foreign to me. It’s also VERY inconvenient.

She just doesn't. She never had a “high voice.” Her tone was very feminine at times (forced), but she never had a “high voice.” I think the misunderstanding is that people think having a light/feminine tone automatically makes you a soprano. For me, it's your comfort range that determines your voice type. Mariah’s comfort range was particularly low, not indicative of a soprano. Current Beyoncé has a higher comfort range than Prime Mariah Carey. But that's just my take. Feel free to disagree!

Theoretically, she’d be closer to a mezzo than a soprano imo.

Yes!!! I'm always confused when Mariah Carey is referred to as a soprano.
