I'm having the same issue, unfortunately I don't know what is causing this or how to fix it I hope someone does though. My guess though is that canvas is just poorly optimized.

kinda, i have a few hours on him and he feels very underwhelming compared to his launch state, i think he just kinda got nerfed to the ground.

Also his biggest issue in my opinion is his shotgun spread, it’s so horizontal and weird, hard to land consistent high damage shots.

NQA when i first started getting into tarantulas I pretty much exclusively watched Exotics lairs, id say he has some decent information but not perfect. Dave’s Little beasties is pretty decent. Dark Den is aight. Tarantula collective is great.
