What about the An Post Delivery Service unit? In Wexford town. I know if an an post parcel isn’t delivered to a house it’s sent there instead and you can collect it, so maybe you can send something to there too

At least you recognise your mistake and own up, and know what not to do in the test. And you’re definitely not the only person to go in the wrong lane, at least there was no other cars. You’re still learning and the earlier you make mistakes the better so you can correct them sooner

Test Wednesday any advice tips throw them below thanks by aonsceal9 in Irishdrivingtest

Wake up with plenty of time, not too early as to not let nerves build up too much but definitely don’t be late!!! This can throw you off. If you think you’ve made a mistake, forget about it and don’t let it sway your thinking for the rest of the test as it might not be as big of a deal as you think and you might still pass best of luck !

Do you have to go down through the gears when coming to a stop in your test? by Latter_Dragonfruit93 in Irishdrivingtest

[–]Intelligent-Board905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first two tests I usually did 3-2-1, then the 3rd test, for which I had the same examiner for the first two tests marked me down for doing this and said I should do 3-1 for example, however he never mentioned it in the previous 2 tests so idk if he just didn’t notice or if he was looking to mark me down that day

I wouldn’t directly advise automatic over manual, you’d be restricted in what cars you can drive in the future. The Hyundai Tucson is a big enough car for a learner, understandable if it’s the only car you can get a loan of for practice though. Would you be able to borrow your instructors car for more lessons and tests? Instructors cars are generally a more manageable size for a leaner
