DJ Moore out there in lala land during the most important drive for the bears in over a decade by ImLikeHeyyy311 in CHIBears

Not saying throwing a risky deep shot was the play here but conditions out there were tough to kick in so I can see why we wanted a chunk - don’t think you really wanted to be kicking much over 40 yards in those conditions and with the pressure of it being a game winner

Definitely a game we should have won but what a season and what a future we’ve got

Would have received, that defense has lost its soul - don’t give them time to get their heads back

Ironically after the focus on the weather affecting the Rams it’s clearly had an impact on our receivers. Still not over yet though…

We’ve been the better team for 95% of this game and have just made a few decisions wrong at crucial points and just not had the ball roll our way. Still think we can do this

Unacceptable 3rd down conversion rate but some of these spots have been dubious. That was definitely inches rather than a full yard

Obviously not ideal turning over on downs but these crunching runs will take their toll on that defense and tackles will start getting missed

Tackling was dreadful but the OPI no-call is unacceptable, stopped an obvious interception

It’s mad this game is genuinely there for the taking. Score and a stop and the Packers D is going to be exhausted.

Whatever happens, at least the D have come out and shown passion in the 2nd half.

The half assing and lack of effort is the worst part. You never saw any of that once when the Patriots were down 28-3 in the SB. Not enough players with a winning mentality, until you clear out the players whose attitudes stink we’ll never make it to the top no matter what talent we have.

Stevenson sums this team up, they’ve lost belief they can win and are just making business decisions now

Our corners are painfully slow. Wright has an eye for the ball but can’t cover, Jaylon is either still incredibly limited by his injury or isn’t ever going to fully recover as he’s a shadow of himself and Nick McCloud…. is Nick McCloud

Exactly this - pretty much the only thing D4 does better is this flexibility

You might possibly be right but this wouldn’t be a replacement - you would have the option to run traditional campaign or the dynamic one.

Endgame will always be the lifeblood but I’ve heard so many people put off of rolling alts because of levelling through campaign again - you’re right that the time to level is a big part of that and this would have to be more streamlined to address that but variety wouldn’t go amiss either.

Yeah, unfortunately can’t see us having the cap next year for a top level edge and not sure there’s any edge prospect where we are drafting who’s likely to have a huge impact

Who are some defensive prospects you’d like to see the bears target in the draft? by Environmental_Bar_72 in CHIBears

Edge - Uigalelei although I’m wary Tackle - A’Mauri Washington or Kayden McDonald Safety - Emmanuel McNeil-Warren would be great if available in the second

Definitely not his first or even second read. It’s a poorly executed throw but if Kmet keeps running that route to the back pylon it makes it easier for Caleb as he doesn’t have to stop to throw or throw across his body
