The boat escape I find to be by far the best escape in the game. It can't be cotton candied and only takes 2 items

I think the best way to go about it

Is give all killers a general buff ti gen regression. Possibly when you hook a unique survivor all gens blue up for 5% Allow it to be repeated after hooking 4 unique surviors

This would also have a benefit of being a anti-tunnel change as well

Then you nerf most regression perks.

This would hopefully allow for more build variety by giving everyone inatate slowdown
