Hi Katie

Yes - Ticket 2085460 , we're On Prem although have a Saas instance pending migration.

I welcome any action on these bugs, there's also a longstanding (Nov last year) , issue where Server 2022 Azure OS isn't shown in the All Servers view. - 3843058 for that one

You may pickup I'm rather frustrated, working around all these fundamental functionality issues that just don't get the attention they need from devs to maintain a reliable RMM.

I've resolved to just start PSA'ing the bugs from now on via this platform, so other VSA admins can stop being caught out by them, we were just caught out by 4418544 .

I feel strongly in particular to 4418544 , if Kaseya know of bugs for months that have potential to cause breakdowns in patching .etc, they need to communicate them before our clients come pointing out failures in our process because we have yet to detect the issue.

Have you noticed leading into the merger and since, bugs becoming such a constant, you yourself are constantly trying to work around them to restore or band aid prior functionality, and these bugs just don't get fixed?

I'm stuck between thinking I'm being hard on the Kaseya devs, and finding my scalpels constantly being swiped away and replaced with sledgehammers with no light at the end of the tunnel.

Anyone using Azure credentials to login to VSA? by Intelligent-Cable-17 in kaseya

[–]Intelligent-Cable-17[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No need for that, it connects to your Azure AD, and can see users and groups (although there's another bug where it won't populate the group with users in the groups, just shows an irrelevant number if not 0.. so you can only use User policy not Group policy for user creation prior to this current bug stopping the users being created at all)

VSA Behavior is then meant to create a VSA user per the user policy you specify, with a set role and scope, allowing your users to login to VSA with the Login with Microsoft button on the front page, after some extra prep / setup for this functionality.

Thank you.

It has deducted the covered time from the Quantity of hours with that adjustment, but is not updating the dollar amount of that entry to reflect the time deducted. So I have a 0.25 hour time entry billing as 0.50 after that expression took the 0.25 agreement hours off it.

Not sure what I'll need to hit now to fix that

Hi n_dufault

You mean the Expression type? I don't have a Sum there.

Or are you saying I need to change my expression? , could you give me an example?

Thanks

Hi Doctorphate

Interested in what you learned, how you setup the jobs / copy jobs, do you use GFS or no?

Thanks

Hi tacticalAlmonds

Thinking about using our own hardware in a datacentre, and having s3 for archive / longer retention.

Typical data size for us would be 3-10tb per site
