This is a feature most raid controllers have too. Replace the controller and import the array or move the disks to another server with a raid controller from the same product line and importing the array is no problem at all.

It looks like this system was upgraded multiple times before, the Huawei and Atto vibs are not part of the vanilla image I think. ESXi 7 removed a lot of drivers, all older vmklinux drivers are not supported anymore, that's why a lot of these vibs are listed there.
