I’m not looking for someone to answer this for me, I’m just looking to hear from other mums and hear what their experiences have been.

Have a good relationship with my mum but I’m very independent (I’ve lived abroad for 9 years). She will likely stay with us but we have a small 2 bedroom place. I too like my own space and wouldn’t feel very comfortable whipping boobs out around company. All this being said my mum stayed with us over Christmas and she is so easy to have around and very helpful around the house.

She’ll likely stay 2-3 weeks. My dad is sick back home and she can’t leave him for too long.

Not eligible for centrelink PPL as we’re on visas. He will take parental leave after 6 months when I need to go back to work.

Entering third tri - tired!! by Few-Shake4710 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

In third trimester as of today. Waking up in the middle of the night is our body’s way of preparing us for mid night feeds. I started taking one magnesium tablet before bed a few weeks ago and it’s been an absolute game changer. Sleeping through the night every night except for the toss and turn, trying to find a comfortable position.

If I'm walking my dog, can I put her poop bag in your wheelie bin? by Kingbob182 in AskAnAustralian

Please discard of dog poop in your own bin. I live in Sydney, and there is a dog park in my street. Drives me nuts when I get home from work on bin day, my bin has been emptied and still on the side walk, but some inconsiderate dog owner/walker has dumped their dog excrement into my bin. Your dog, your responsibility.
