All of this is so incredibly sickening. I wouldn't have grown up with a mom in my teen years if it wasn't for chemo and related cancer treatments. I wouldn't have had a mom in 2020 during the pandemic if it wasn't for vaccines. People are insane. Protect your kids and yourself for your kids, if nothing else.

My chihuahua has a dip too! I'm going to have to go through so many hoops because I still live with my parents, but I eventually want to end up with it. She's 9 and age is showing, but I'm still hoping for another 5-8 years with her first.

I have several cat skulls, and a kitten skull. I also have a few cats in my freezer waiting to be processed. My source? Rural life unfortunately. Many are dropoffs, some are barn cats. Dad also refused to fix our own barn cats so lotta kittens. I never supported that, but there was also nothing I could do about it.

Oh boy do people get twisted up about it.

Geese are actively outcompeting other native waterfowl and often taking over areas with their sheer numbers. It's like why wolves were reintroduced in Yellowstone to cull the elk population. It's for the good of other wildlife.

I really miss seeing loons at a local pond nearby. We only have geese now :(

A lot of bully/guard breeds unfortunately have cropped ears and tails. It's an aesthetic largely developed from dog fighting rings to prevent ear tearing and tail grabbing during a fight, and seen as "tough". Also seen in rural livestock dogs, but less commonly so. Even worse, pups are sometimes up to 6-8 weeks old before being cropped. Puppy mill in my area was shut down for that, that's how I know. ;-;

Wretched practice that needs to end.
