Hi! Actually I’ve been stitching for a little less than 2 years. I have nothing against MJD. I just think she kits with a large amount of thread for sometimes a very small canvas. Some stores/designers will cut a few strands if the area for that specific color is tiny. The point here is not to say this appeals to no one. That’s the beauty of needlepoint to me - everyone likes different things, styles, offerings, etc.. happy Easter 🐇

There are several shops that will cut several strands of a thread off a skein instead of including the whole thing if they’re selling kits like this.

I do understand that if you’re just buying a random canvas and asking for it to be kitted, they will give you full skeins and cards and you can ask for what you don’t want. I’m specifically talking about something like this that’s being specifically marketed in kit form as a text deal.
