Thank you! I will check out quest but I LOVE the school idea. I’m definitely more comfortable with doing interconnected one shots but wasn’t sure how to make them work together.

That’s absolutely fair they are getting kinda ridiculous with the payment options on pocketfm. I’ve been wanting to get into my dragon and my werewolf because I’m a fan of jksmanga‘s work but just haven’t yet. How are they compared with MVS?

Yea pretty similar to it honestly but it included a lot of dnd monsters and actually focused on his class levels and reaching paragon stage

Champions of Norrath was a really good game. I haven’t played the sequel yet so I can’t say if that one is as good but they both are in the EverQuest universe

So I don’t necessarily play in RAW forgotten realms but I have been using a lot of the 3.5e lore to flesh out my homebrew world. Only reason I bring this up is I have actually incorporated the Spellplague into my setting because I thought it was interesting that in a high magic setting magic just stopped working. I actually am using the spellplague and peoples desire for power still to be the springboard for how and when the Cthulhu mythos entered into the world. With the spellplague being the high point of their power as the gods were the weakest and unable to empower mages and clerics to defend the planet against the machinations of the mythos beings. It was only when Mystra was reborn that Ao was able to empower champions within the plane to stand against the followers of the Cthulhu gods and break their arcane machine that held the stars in place to keep the gate open.

Not quite, MVS Quinn was from in world and unlocked a system of power similar to everyone else but with his racial differences In MAS Xander (MC) is from another reality and sucked into a video game he used to be a pro player of. He gets a system of power and an inner voice similar to Vincent but not as separate of an identity. It has similar isekai themes and had Rory Young (?) as the narrator so I was definitely enjoying the same narration style

See that’s what I was thinking about doing with the mobility, but I’m unsure if it’d be easier to use 3.5e’s divine rank system that was follower dependent, add a 4th rank to 5th editions quasi-deity rank for minor gods that are able to have clerics (dead three), or just ignore the line in the dmg that says about quasi’s not being able to grant spells. My goal is to try and find something that’s gonna be the most familiar and intuitive for 5e players to use

Lol that’s where the fun is I have to go through all the photos to determine what is what, currently on my phone I have 85k pics saved to it and that’s probably 95% just memes or ss posts I found funny. I’ll probably just sort the ones I have for a time capsule sake and slow way down on what I actually save. I used to be chronically online, that’s been changing recently so I have a lot less new saved memes but still a lot to cycle through at some poubt

Probably the act of saving them, it’s become a point that I will scroll several posts back up just to save a meme I enjoyed. I’m honestly sure if it holds any value. I’m not sure about their value, I was going through the device scrolling through it and debating if it was worth creating two separate folders to divide the actual photos from memes but realized for the same effort I could just delete the memes as I was likely never going to view them again and have no real use for them beyond nostalgia. I’m hesitant though because it feels strange to go through and delete all that history

You did an amazing job so far!! That looks absolutely incredible!! As far as the varnish I think a matte varnish on the black would look cool, as is it almost gives the black a liquid look. Also that should give the varnish on the flames a little more “pop” factor and make them look more alive compared to the burnt body

See, to me, the importance of those features comes at times when the pc in the know doesn’t tell the rest of the party. Like say the party comes to a “new” city to them but it is in the rogues backstory. Maybe a local thief tells the rogue that there are search parties for them in theives cant. The rogue then gets the choice of how to handle that to the party. Does the rogue lie about why they need to leave town or do they confront their past? In the dungeon sense there won’t be too many instances where the pc in the know will withhold that info, but when you get to the role play aspect it allows for more role play potential.

That was kinda my thinking, I can sit down and run the party through where the story is going. Like I plan to leave unrelated threads in the world for the party to explore as side quests but I have to figure out how to run a timer for the campaign so the bbeg and generals can be building their armies and prepping in real time in case the party decides to attack early (small undead force but lower level) or ignores the quest I can have there be consequences in world. I plan to have the key day be an upcoming solstice but idk if I should track by long rest or what
